Heh, I know what you meaning about clearing out buddy lists. It's kinda sad when you make lots of friends and then get so busy that it's hard to keep track :( As for recommendations, some of my favourites are arthursmummy and hsiutime. Really like your drawings by the way, I thought the horses were great so don't criticise yourself too much! Anyway, just thought I'd say hello because I've been reading for a while (since you were with Jenn, even) and in that time must have signed your book about... three times? Argh! Anyway, your entries are still interesting, and even though I don't know you in person it's cool seeing how your life has changed over the past few years *hugs*

Omigod, you're 21 now?????
21???????????
I feel like one of my own daughters has grown up. I'm really glad to see you're in school, and mostly happy, and just still as smart and full of sense as you always have been. I'm proud of you.

Might I have your LJ username? I've been reading you for years (I'm a former diarylander) and it'd be nice to follow you there, too:)

I can't understand why some people even get animals. If you don't want to love it and care for it then you should just let it go to someone that will love it. Those poor animals.

I hope this entry *didn't* help enough in a way: I hope that you will take the action you need to take to protect yourself. You're right both that it's not fair to you and that your mother needs help you can't provide (and it doesn't sound like her husband is much help there). If you need to pull back, either totally or partly, do it as soon as you can financially afford to - *not* when she repays you, because that may never happen, but as soon as you can swing it.

I know how hard it is to deal with a difficult parent. My Mom had me on the brink of a nervous breakdown, which is why I've cut off contact with her. I said that same thing to my mom, about loving her, but not what she is doing. She just stared back at me while wearing a puzzled expression. I hope that this entry helped you, emotionally speaking. Hope everything works out!
